General Conditions

Please observe that Mega Zipline Iceland is an activity that takes place in nature. Although we have strived to make the activity and the environment as safe as possible it may be unsafe unless all necessary caution is used. You must therefore show care and caution, and at all times take full note of your surroundings. You must not remove any of the safety equipment we may provide and you must observe and fully comply with any instructions given by our personnel.
Mega Zipline Iceland disclaims responsibility or liability for damage to belongings, physical injury, accidents, sickness, or other type of loss you may incur before, during or after our tours.
Unfortunately, we do not control the weather, so Mega Zipline Iceland disclaims responsibility for any loss or inconvenience resulting from changes in tour schedule, such as routes and timetables due to weather or other irregularity outside Mega Zipline Iceland’s control (including, but not limited to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions).
Liability Release will need to be signed by each participant and/or parent prior to activity. The link for the waivers will be in your confirmation email. Please pass it along to all group members. Registered participants in the Mega Zipline Iceland can not participate if they have not signed a waiver.
Mega Zipline Iceland operates under and is subject to Icelandic law. These terms and conditions and the relationship between Mega Zipline Iceland and its customers is governed by Icelandic law. Any claim or action against Mega Zipline Iceland is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Iceland. Claims may only be brought in the District Court of Reykjavik with appeal as applicable.

Taxes and fees

All prices on the website are including VAT and invoices are issued with VAT.

Pricing

Mega Zipline Iceland reserves the right to change prices already quoted or published on our website and in our price lists subject to currency fluctuation and conditions that are outside Mega Zipline Iceland’s control. Discounts for youth applies to families only.

Language

Guidance is in English. Other languages may be available upon request only.

Clothing and difficulty

Sturdy shoes and a warm outdoor wear should be worn when going on Mega Zipline Iceland tour. Gloves and headwear are recommended, and all passengers need to wear helmet on the tour. Bear in mind that the hike to the launching tower does involve a relatively easy uphill hike (of about 400 meters / 1300 feet) with uneven surface which in the wintertime can include snow and ice. The Mega Zipline Iceland tour is only for passengers in fair physical shape. This tour is not recommended for people with back, knee or other health issues which may limit mobility or ability to deal with the environment. This tour is not for pregnant women.

Timing

Please note that indicated departure and return times can vary due to several factors including weather conditions. Estimated time during the tour will also vary depending on the passengers and the guide involved. Mega Zipline Iceland cannot be made responsible for losses a passenger may face due to delay, regardless of the loss being direct or indirect. All passengers should arrive at least 10 minutes before scheduled departure time. Passengers for pick up in the Reykjavik metropolitan area should estimate to be ready at least 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure at the Mega Zipline in Hveragerði.

Bookings

Bookings for individuals can be done on-line through our website or though some of our sales agents. If any problems are encountered while booking please send an e-mail to info@MegaZipline.is. The same e-mail can be used for group bookings.

Confidentiality

The seller holds all information from the buyer in relation to the purchase as confidential. Under no circumstances will information be handed to a third party unless specified in the limitation of liability signed by the buyer.
